"Mommy! I want to go to the toy store! Please, mommy! Mom... come on!" "Seppo, I said 'no'. Mommy has to go to work in a few hours, and we must get home."
Poor kid... Taku thought, as she slumped against a picnic table that was set up on display inside a clothing store in the mall. Somehow, she had found her way behind the black curtein and was seated on the table -- the curteins opened quit a bit so that she could look out at people -- there was no glass up, and the store was not yet open, so Taku didn't really care to what the people thought of her.
"Wah! Kimi-chan! Give it back!" "No-o-o, Okami-tan! You have to come get it!" "Give it back, Okami." "Irk, fine... here you go, Kimi... thank Usou-kun for being such a party pooper."
Taku watched with shadowed eyes as the group of High Schoolers passed by her window -- one turned a gaze and suddenly pointed at Taku, for a moment, then kept walking... giggling like a senile idiot. The mall wasn't too crowded, but a Sohma[can be Souma, but I like to spell it Sohma] cursed by the zodiac had to be exceptionally careful -- not to mention once cursed by the ox.
Can you see that sight in your head?
Suddenly a girl turns into a brown cow... that would be one hell of a mess and a memory-erasing project. So, Sohma Takuto was going to keep to the background, though she was fairly bored today. She wore her school uniform -- the blue one for Kaibara High School, though soon her uniform would switch -- only a year or two left and Takuto would go to Miha Ni All-girls College... their uniform's were so much less attractive there, and Taku looked forward to it.

Kouji walked through the mall, his hands digging through his pocket as he carried a rather large sports bag over his shoulders, which contained some heavy things. His glaring eyes scattered around, he was kind of grateful that there wasn't as much people in the mall as it was supposed to be. He glanced down at his school uniform - it was his Kaibara uniform. He yanked off the white tie which has been bothering him for a while and started to unbutton his jacket and let his button-down shirt underneath show.
He shoved his white tie into his pocket when he reached an empty steel bench. He laid his heavy bag on the bench as he made a large 'thump'. He roughly rubbed his neck and shoulder. He made himself comfortable on the seat and vacantly stared off distantly, which the usual. He has just arrived from America only a few days ago and the air felt... different. He couldn't say he missed America since he still has yet to explore the area.
His accurate eyes soon caught some eyes behind a black curtain, he wondered if people from Japan are often this "weird". He shook his head, he shouldn't be saying that, especially if he was probably the weirdest one in the mall with the Gatsu family curse. He shrugged it off and looked in the opposite direction, only to see some girls giggling and waving at him. He stared hard at the ground, the people here were definitely the same - they were undependable, stupid human beings, they were unable to help.
No... it wasn't that he hate normal humans, it was something else.
He was envious of them. Yes, that was it.
He bitterly stared at the highschoolers. People... they just don't seem to get it; they never seemed grateful for what they have. He, himself, had wished he would be normal like them so desperately. He heaved out a cold sigh, placing his hands on his sports bag that was beside him.

Hm? Whos that? Thats weird -- a Kaibara student... neh... wheres his friends? I never see students around here without their little 'gang-up'... weird kid... time for some fun... Taku moved her left foot first, then her right foot from the shadows, and then pushed herself up, pushing some of her brown hair out of her face, not even a smirk nor a snuffle of a smile crossed her face, as she moved toward the bench carelessly.
As she stopped behind the bench -- she had been walking as if she wasn't even going to stop -- she slowly turned her eyes to look at the person, not her head, just her eyes. Then her face puckered a little for a moment, her eyes almost blank... as always; much too calm. Suddenly, her arms slummed over the back of the bench, right next to the boy. Her hand suddenly came up and pointed right at his face... inches from his face? You bet.
"I like you. You have no friends to come to the mall with, neither does Taku. So Taku likes you," Taku said in third person, still pointing at his face, but slowly retracted her hand, no smirk, no smile, no nothing on her face. Just that calm, cool expression that would freak anyone out... well... maybe, not freak, but it was much too calm for the ordinary, not to mention being posessed by the ox gave her this look. The only time it ever changed fast was when "Kuto" came out.

Kouji's sensitive ears perked as he heard the slight and swift change in the air, his eyes quickly turned to the cause and caught notice of... a finger? He didn't even spare a blink. His eyes followed the arm until he reached the eyes of a girl. His eyelids half-closed for a moment in thought. Why do they just keep coming? He wondered, he turned away from her finger that was too close for comfort. His cat-like eyes caught a group of girls giving glares at their direction.
He just gave a light shrug and stood up, grabbing his heavy bag. He glanced at the girl once more ,"Want a drink?" He calmly offered - somehow, she seemed different from the other humans he have talked to or laid eyes onto, who knows. It may just be her unchanging expression. He didn't want to wait for her answer and quickly turned to a direction of the soda machine, he gazed at the many choices and narrowed his eyes - Great, Japan didn't even have his favorite drink.
He looked over his shoulders, motioning for the girl named 'Taku' to come.

"Want a drink?"
How nice... Taku thought, as she followed, her arms swaying back and forth at her sides as if they weren't really connected to her arms at all. Her unchanging, slow expression kept meeting eyes with people -- then she met eyes with the group of girls... and you know what she did? She raised her hand, flipping out her middle finger and pressed it on the skin below her left eye -- she pulled down, then stuck out her tongue -- until she heard the girl's gasp and yell a few insults... but she had already stopped behind the boy.
"Strawberry..." Taku replied slowly, pointing her finger at a small drink inside the machine... it seemed the machine was mostly around ten to fourty yen -- hers in particular was exact twelve yen -- and she wasn't going to pay. The stranger better, or she would probably just break the glass and grab her drink -- because not like she cared what trouble she got into.
