Personality: Shen is a very quiet, serious guy. He doesn't say much and generally keeps to himself. He comes off as a sort of "tough guy," but he's got a heart of gold. He's brave, courageous, and always willing to help, especially those in need. A very kind guy, and polite, too. Sometimes a little old-fashioned, but that doesn't bother him.
He hates weakness of any kind and refuses to show any to anyone. He has a lot of pride, and that sometimes can be his downfall.
Weapon: An Asian quarterstaff, also called a Bo-staff. It's crimson, with gold at the tips.
Past: Shen's past is shrouded in mystery. He grew up living a hard life, watching his father abuse his mother and himself. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore and moved out after his mother's death. He stays in the main house but visits Shishou's Dojo often, as well as Shigure's house. He's had his heart broken a few times, so he is generally wary of love.
However, Shen's a very romantic sort of guy and wouldn't mind giving his heart to somebody, as long as his love is returned.

Personality: Shayla is a proud, sometimes even arrogant, confident girl. She is generally friendly, but she does have a bit of a temper and a bad rebellious streak, accounting for why she ran away. She looks at first like a tough street girl, but she really isn't. Usually caring, ready to help, and active/adventurous. Always works hard.
Weapon: She doesn't like fighting too much, but if she has to she'll use martial arts or a bow and arrow.
Past: She's Shen's half-sister, accounting for the fact that they share the same, bright green eyes of their mother. Shayla grew up with her dad, a nice childhood that accounts for her pleasant nature. She never got abused like her mother and her brother did, by the other man.
